Exercise putty is used for hand therapy and to strengthen hand grasp. Scented Theraputty® hand exercise material makes hand therapy more pleasant for youngsters. Using scented putty is a fun way for children to develop grip strength and stay attentive and participate. Tan (vanilla) is XX-Light, Yellow (banana) is X-Light, Red (cherry) is Light, Green (apple) is Medium.

There's a new twist in hand therapy. Puttycise® is great for use with Theraputty® to increase function and versatility. The knob turn is meant to simulate opening a door, tightening a jar, pushing a lid onto a container, tightening a valve, holding a glass of water, and opening makeup containers. CanDo® Theraputty® hand exercise material is the standard in resistive hand exercise material. Each color-coded putty has a different consistency ranging from XX-Soft for strengthening the weakest grasp to Extra-Firm for developing a stronger grip. Available in convenient easy-to-open plastic containers (2, 3, 4 and 6 ounce) for individual patients to use at home and a choice of larger containers (1 and 5 pound) for the hospital or clinic.
