Cut and break saws (also called cut-n-break saws) have two blades to make parallel cuts in concrete to create a groove. Workers can proceed in stages to cut slots in thick material or cut window openings or recesses in concrete or brick walls. Gas-powered saws create fumes and are used outdoors in well-ventilated areas.
