This formulation is made of FDA compliant materials for food, beverage and pharmaceutical applications. Silicone can withstand high temperatures and has excellent weathering properties. It also has a low compression set compared to other rubbers so it bounces back to shape, even after extended compression.

A reinforced elastomer with minimum tensile strength of 500 PSI (4 MPA) and made from smooth, black styrene butadiene rubber (SBR rubber). This reinforced sheet rubber is available in 4 thicknesses (1/16, 1/8, 3/16, 1/4) and 65-75 durometer with limited flexibility and low elasticity. This reinforced sheet rubber has an approximate weight of: 1lb per square foot in 1/8 thick.

This formulation is stronger and more durable than both standard and high strength Buna-N for the most demanding applications. Buna-N is ideal for oils, greases, fuels, and petroleum applications. It also works well with water and mild chemicals and has excellent physical properties making it tough and durable.
