This Tempco Drum Immersion Heater fits through the standard 2" bung opening in a 55 gallon drum. Ideal for improving the flow of lard, tar, oils and other high viscosity solutions. Only 8" +/- 1/2" of vertical riser is heated, allowing liquid level to flucturate without damaging the heater. Ensure the vertical heated portion, which extends 8" up riser from bottom of element, is always fully immersed. Adjustable stainless steel mounting brackets. Hard wired. Made in the USA.
