This formulation is made of FDA compliant materials for food, beverage and pharmaceutical applications. Silicone can withstand high temperatures and has excellent weathering properties. It also has a low compression set compared to other rubbers so it bounces back to shape, even after extended compression.

Polyurethane has exceptional tensile strength, tear resistance, and shock absorption qualities. It is far stronger than comparable rubber materials and is often used for high-tension and high-wear applications.

This formulation contains metal fillers which allow the silicone rubber to be picked up by metal detection systems should they tear or fall into the process stream. UHMW Polyethylene has outstanding abrasion, wear, and impact resistance. UHMW is commonly fabricated into conveyers, machine guards, and equipment housings. The glass filling increases its strength and rigidity, making it better suited for high stress situations.

Buna-N is ideal for oils, greases, fuels, and petroleum applications. It also works well with water and mild chemicals and has excellent physical properties making it tough and durable.
